You know when the toothpaste gets down to the last bit and you squeeze and squeeze and squeeze it and then eventually grab your scissors and cut off the end of the tube just to make sure you got ALL of it out? Oh wait… Is that just me? Well for any of you who can relate, I’ve discovered a toothpaste squeezing solution!
Recently, I found myself watching this 4-minute binder clip video that came across my Facebook feed. It was one of those videos that I was mesmerized by, but at the same time I couldn’t help but wonder why I was spending my time watching it.
Until I saw hack #2. I knew I had to try it!
Binder Clip + Toothpaste = Using ALL the Toothpaste.
It’s so silly, yet so awesome, all at the same time! So if you’ve got some of those binder clips lying around, don’t throw them out! There are plenty of other uses for them besides holding a stack of papers together.
And while we’re on the topic of dental hygiene, here are some others ways I’ve been frugal in my bathroom lately.
After reading Marie Kondo’s book “The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up“, I’ve been determined to keep items of the same variety in one place. I used to keep extra toothbrushes and toothpaste in our hall closet. Now they are right next to the stuff we use daily! That way we always know how much we actually have and don’t accidentally buy something we already have at home. I’ve also been storing our dental supplies in old jars I cleaned up.
And here’s a gem. I feel like this photo really shows my true colors. Ty and I bought a box of 10 store-brand white strips on clearance and are SPLITTING THEM. This may just put me in the cheapskate category, and I can accept that. Hey, it saved us $11 dollars!
How have you been frugal this week?
Have a great weekend!
