This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and Dove, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #pmgdove #DovePartner #EssentialUpgrade http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV
When I downsized my closet earlier this year, I really took the time to decide what pieces made me feel great and got rid of the ones I was keeping around “just because”. It was a very freeing experience and I ended up with a wardrobe I love, but is minimal. That means that I really try to maximize what I do have by creating multiple outfits out of each article of clothing. Case and point: my favorite olive green tank.
This top is perfect for summer. It’s light, it’s breezy, and it’s sleeveless, giving my arms room to breathe after being hidden all winter long! Less sleeves equals more underarm exposure so I’ve partnered with Dove to tell you all about their Dove Advanced Care Antiperspirant.
For someone like me who often forgets to wear deodorant (it’s true), I love that this deodorant offers 48-hours of odor and wetness protection (that’s two whole days!). It also has the added skin care benefits of its NutriumMoisture formula which makes for soft and smooth underarms, perfect now that it’s tank top weather. Added bonus: the Refresh Pomegranate smells amazing!
The thing that I love about a basic tank is that it can be paired with so many things. This one I bought at H&M for $6! I can dress it up by tucking it into my lace pencil skirt or I can let it flow with these colorful patterned shorts, both of which I found on super clearance at the Loft.
Since I’m frugal, being able to use the same thing in a variety ways brings me pure joy. You may notice I also opted to wear the same shoes. But by simply changing my bottoms, jewelry, and hairstyle, I’ve created two totally different looks! One tank, two ways.
What’s your favorite summer piece?
