The simple stuff. You've got to start somewhere.
I get lots of comments about the number of eggs I buy weekly. Typically, 1.5 or 2 dozen eggs make it into my cart to feed our household of two. People always want to know what we do with them all. Tacos are a staple in our house! They are quick, easy, inexpensive, and delicious. But have you every looked at the ingredients listed on a packet of store-bought taco seasoning? No bueno. Here's an example: Maltodextrin. Silicon Dioxide? Ethoxyquin?! My philosophy on packaged items is that if the ingredients listed aren't things I could cook with at home, I shouldn't be buying them. The first time I tried kombucha I hated it. It sort of reminded me of a weak beer, and I hated beer. Then I did the Whole30 and my drink choices plummeted.
